At Moped it’s our quest to make sharing and communicating with each other frictionless. With sharing, our first major step was the chrome extension that lets you share any page in just a few keystrokes.
Starting today, we’re making the next major advance: embedding content you share directly into your Mopeds. We’re calling this “Rich Messages.”
When you share a link in a message, Moped will show you a preview of what’s being shared in the smartest way we can: YouTube videos and SoundCloud tracks that play directly, summaries of news article, and images that load without needing to click through.
It’s not perfect, but will definitely get better. Below are a few examples of what embedded content in Moped looks like.
